Course-Specific AI Teaching Platform

AI Agora is not a generic large language model, nor an automated tool that replaces instructors. We empower university faculty to embed their own teaching style, disciplinary insights and course materials into AI — turning AI from a student cheating tool into a controlled pedagogical extension. Reclaim instructional leadership in the AI era, reduce repetitive workload, and deliver truly personalized learning experiences for students.

Dr. Ruhai Wu, Associate Professor of Marketing at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University, has integrated AI Agora into his Digital Marketing course to address the challenges that generative AI poses to traditional teaching.

Feedback from the pilot shows that students broadly accept the dialogue-based assessment format, finding it better at building flexible knowledge application. The integrated self-study environment has also significantly improved learning convenience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will AI answers go beyond the course content I upload?

A: No. The platform operates on a course-exclusive RAG knowledge base. All answers are retrieved only from the course materials you upload and authorize. For questions outside the course scope, the AI will explicitly state it cannot answer, and will not fabricate responses using general LLM knowledge.

Q: Do I need programming or AI technical skills to use it?

A: No. The platform is designed for university faculty. File upload, AI configuration and assignment release are all visual operations with no technical background required. You can set up a basic course in 10 minutes.

Q: Which campus learning systems are supported for integration?

A: LTI 1.3 international standard compliant. Seamlessly integrates with mainstream higher education LMS including Canvas, Moodle and Brightspace, enabling single sign-on, identity sync and grade passback.

Q: How are students charged? Do instructors have to pay?

aligned with the North American textbook and courseware pricing model, at approximately $20–$25 per student per course.
